Summer talk with Jackie Rice

It’s that glorious time of the year when the sun shines the brightest and the beach takes the spotlight. Of course, Kapuso actress Jackie Rice gets into her summer spirit and dishes about her upcoming vacation. She also gives style and beauty tips to all the summer girls out there.

Jackie will be having the time of her life in Caramoan, Bicol. Being the adventure-seeker that she is, she will be going on a road trip before hitting the beach.

She shared, “Last year, pumunta kami sa Sagada, Baguio at La Union. Kasama ko ang family and friends ko. Dalawang van kami by land.”

Summer is totally enjoyable, but it also means getting exposed to harsh elements like the sun and salty water. How does Jackie maintain her glow?

“Huwag kalimutan ang sunblock at water para ma-hydrate tayo. Siyempre importante din ang Vitamin C,” she advised.

Also, laid-back and flowy fashion is the way to go this summer according to the Innamorata actress.

“Nagsusuot ako ng mga neon at pastels. Mahilig din ako sa mga floral at colorful. Sometimes naka-shorts ako and sometimes naka-dress. It depends on my mood talaga,” she said.

Summer definitely sizzles more with Jackie Rice around. Is she already starting her campaign for the 100 sexiest poll of a men’s magazine?

She answered, “Hindi pa ako nagka-campaign. [For the past] two years, nasa top 10 ako at wala na akong mahihiling pa dahil naranasan ko na iyon. Masaya ako kung magiging part ulit ako, pero siyempre dapat iba naman.”

How does she keep in shape? The secret to achieving her sexy figure is simple. According to Jackie, “Boxing lang kung may time. Nagba-bike din ako sa UP kung may time. Dapat siguro mas less ‘yung sugar at ‘yung plato natin dapat kalahati noon ay gulay.”
