'Jonalyn Dares to be Fearless' on SNBO

Jonalyn Viray's journey to stardom was not an easy one.
After becoming Pinoy Pop Superstar's grand champion, Jonalyn had to face a lot of people who believed that her career would not take off after the competition.
"Jinudge na nila agad ako...Di raw ako magtatagal sa showbiz...Walang mararating," she said, recalling the feeling.
Instead of allowing her to be put down by those who doubted her, Jonalyn made them her motivation to hone her craft, rehearse and reinvent.
"Na-overcome ko naman po siya, of course through (the people) sa paligid ko, sila 'yung nagga-guide sa akin kung paano i-deal 'yung challenges kaya nalampasan ko 'yung pagsubok na 'yun," she added.
She has come a long way since then -- singing theme songs of Kapuso shows as well as the national anthem in Manny Pacquiao's boxing match and bagging several awards in the prestigious World Championship of Performing Arts.
Last February 28, Jonalyn celebrated nine years of success in the industry at the Music Museum.
She had chosen her concert's name, Fearless, to signify how nine years of struggle in show business have toughened her up.
"Fearless kong hinarap 'yung challenges, di lang sa pagkanta pero sa personal aspect din na kung paano ko dineal 'yung mga pagsubok sa buhay...Ngayon mas strong ako na harapin (lahat). Hanggang ngayon, meron pa rin pog bashers...(Hinahayaan ko) na (lang) sila. Ang importante 'yung talagang nakaka-appreciate ng totoo sa 'yo," she said.
The concert was also her way of showing that she is grateful for all that she has received and she has been through.
She is joined in the concert by influences and friends in the industry including Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Kuh Ledesma, Brenan Espartinez and Alden Richards.
