What makes Tom Rodriguez proud to be Kapuso?

It has barely been a year since Tom Rodriguez has been a Kapuso.

With his insatiable talent, he breathed life into Vincent in the phenomenal series in My Husband’s Lover. His performance did not just make him a household name, but a gamechanger.

Now one of the most sought after leading men in film and television, Tom has also become a recording artist with the release of his album with My Husband’s Lover co-star, Dennis Trillo, dubbed TomDen.

The charming bedimpled actor looked back at his career highlights as a Kapuso star and shared what makes him proud to be Kapuso.

He shared, “Ibang klase talaga ‘yung pagtanggap sa akin ng Kapuso Network. The trust they’ve given me sa My Husband’s Lover pa lang, grabe. Forever akong magiging grateful doon. Tapos ‘yung suporta pa ng mga tao, iba eh.”

My Husband’s Lover undoubtedly ended on a high note, with so much clamor for the show and its stars. This gave way to One More Try: My Husband’s Lover The Concert last October, followed by a U.S. concert tour.

“I can’t even begin to describe ‘yung init ng pagtanggap nila sa My Husband’s Lover concert, hindi lang dito kundi pati sa U.S. Everything was totally beyond my expectations kaya masasabi kong inspired tuloy ako to work harder and to further my existing pursuits,” said the Kapuso hunk.

He continued, “I’m looking forward to all the projects na ipagkakatiwala sa akin ng GMA. I am certainly proud to be Kapuso.”
