Heart Evangelista makes 'tusok-tusok' the fish ball in Sorsogon
Heart Evangelista is once again making a joke at her expense on her Instagram account, proving once again that becoming an international fashion and style icon doesn't mean you lose your sense of humor.
In one of her more recent posts on her Instagram account, Heart posted multiple photos of her buying fish balls in Rempeolas, Sorsogon together with her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero. Heart poked fun at her own “maarte” reputation in the comment to the post, writing that she was making “tusok tusok the fish balls.”
This isn't the first time that Heart has been spotted at a humbler location than her usual fashion haunts. Last year, she gamely took on the sari-sari store shopping challenge after she was dared by a follower. Not only did she buy stuff for herself, she also went on to buy food and drinks for the other sari-sari store customers as well.
Heart's Instagram fans and followers gamely joined in the teasing in the comments section of the recent post, with some writing that the fish balls probably increased in value thanks to her while others enjoyed her duality.
Meanwhile, another user remarked that the diamonds on Heart's hands once again gave them a sobering wake-up call.
Heart has also been pretty laid-back when it comes to netizens poking fun at her luxurious image.
During her birthday month last year, Heart posted three Chanel hangers on her Instagram account that resulted in netizens teasing her about it. Online, Chanel hangers can retail anywhere from USD$45 to USD$56, or P2,468 to P3,072 based on current exchange rates.
Much more recently, netizens teased Heart about the designer accessories she had for her dogs. Back in April, Heart shared photos of one of her dogs wearing a Gucci Ophidia GG case for Airpods, which retails for USD$320 or P17,556 based on current exchange rates.
