Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray got teary-eyed as she received a warm welcome during the press conference for her grand homecoming festivities.
"I didn't expect to be so emotional right now, but I really, really do," said Catriona, who turned emotional while giving her opening message to the media.
Catriona Gray reiterated, “It gives me so much pride and honor to be able to bring so much joy to my country, the Philippines."
According to Catriona, her homecoming is her first official celebration with Pinoy fans and supporters since she won Miss Universe 2018.
The Pinay beauty queen is excited to meet her supporters at the two-day grand homecoming parade prepared for her, "It has always been giving back to the community and the country as a whole."
Catriona Gray once again dedicates her Miss Universe win to Filipinos, "I'm filled with the utmost pride and I just wanna say thank you and this is all for you.”
At the grand homecoming parade, Catriona will be on board a majestic float inspired by her diamond-and-pearl-encrusted Mikimoto crown and magma-inspired Mak Tumang gown.

Catriona thinks she's going to be emotional on the first day of her homecoming parade, "I feel like my crying moment is going to be during my homecoming parade."
