What keeps Marian Rivera sexy?


Marian Rivera rules. She is after all no less than the Kapuso Primetime Queen. At the same time, she was also declared the sexiest in a poll conducted by a leading men’s magazine. What is her secret to looking awesomely svelte?

In the press launch of Marian’s cover for a wellness magazine, GMA News Online reported about fitness tips from the Carmela star. According to the article, the busy and on-the-go Marian admitted that she does not have enough time to go to the gym. What is her alternative?

“Kasi siyempre sa busy ng schedule ko, minsan hindi na ako nakakapag workout sa gym, pero sabi ko nga kung gusto palaging may paraan, kasi sa bahay pwede naman akong mag-Zumba. Io-on ko lang 'yung music ko pwede na ako sumayaw, so pwede ko na 'yun maging exercise,” Marian said.

The award-winning actress believes that everyone should strive to be toned and healthy as opposed to being thin. Having a flat stomach or having abs do not necessarily mean that a person is healthy. For Marian, it’s all about one’s lifestyle.

“Siguro ang maganda pag alam mong [may] healthy lifestyle ka, mas malaki 'yung kumpiyansa mo sa sarili. Especially ako, artista ako, pag nagcocover ako sa magazine, alam ko sa sarili ko, may kumpiyansa ako na kaya ko siyang gawin. Iba ang natutulong nun pag nagshu-shoot ako,” she said.

Another tip from the actress is combining exercise with your personal interests. In Marian’s case, it is dancing.

She stated, “Kung ano 'yung mafe-feel nila na mas magiging compatible sa personality nila, 'yun ang gawin nilang exercise...Like ako, mahilig ako sumayaw, so, mas swak ako sa Zumba at ine-enjoy ko siya. Nagwo-work out ako, at the same time ine-enjoy ko siya as exercise,” Rivera said.

Marian also recommends being open to variety when it comes to working out. The possibilities are endless and exploring makes it even more fun.

“Dun sa types of workout, nag-wushu na ako, nag-arnis na ako, nag Muay Thai na ako, ngayon nasa Zumba naman ako. So, 'yun din ang maganda, dapat very open tayo sa mga bagay, bagay. Hindi porket nag Muay Thai ka, forever ka na sa Muay Thai. Maganda siguro 'yung mag-try ng iba-iba,” she said

Finally, she thinks that working out will be easier and more enjoyable if you have a companion whom you can exercise with. For Marian, it is her boyfriend, Kapuso Primetime King, Dingdong Dantes. She does Zumba while he does CrossFit. Together, they run and go to the gym. This is how the power couple spends their time together.

Achieving Marian Rivera’s fit body is involves a lot of hard work. Whether you choose to run, box or dance your way into fitness, being in tip-top shape is definitely possible.
