One of them is Karen Davila who shared on X (formerly Twitter) some throwback photos with Booma when she was still working as a Kapuso.
Back in the late '90s, Karen and Mike were anchors of the late-night news program Saksi.
In her post, she recalled what the late news icon told her about staying “humble.”
Paalam, MIKE ENRIQUEZ 🇵🇭 I first shared the anchor seat with the iconic 'Booma' in 1995 during GMA7's election coverage, then Saksi's 15 min newscast to its 30 min version 'til 1999.
