Christian Bautista takes Indonesia by storm

Kapuso star Christian Bautista soars to new heights as he performs for Indonesia’s dignitaries and guests in four of the country’s top rating TV shows.

Last May 23, Christian was handpicked by the Malacanang to perform in front of Indonesian dignitaries in a state dinner hosted by the Philippine Government for the President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Christian first performed for the Indonesian President during the opening ceremonies of the First ASEAN Beach Games in Bali in October 2008.

In the event, Christian gave his all in performing his hit song, The Way You Look at Me, followed by the song, Save Our World, which is an original composition by the Indonesian President.

During this trip, Christian also guested in four top-rating Indonesian shows, namely, Yu Keep Smile on Trans TV, On The Show on Rajawali TV, Indonesia Morning Show and The Sarah Sechan Show both on NETTV 25.

Each of these local Indonesian TV shows gave Christian significant exposure, highlighting his achievements and music through skits, interviews and song numbers.

In his guestings, Christian performed his all-time chart-topping hits like The Way You You Look At Me, Since I Found You, Color Everywhere and Beautiful Girl.

The balladeer also consistently trended on Twitter in Indonesia and worldwide in his TV appearances.

The Kapuso singer-actor also met with record producers in the few days that he was in Indonesia. He will be releasing an album there within the year and will be staging a concert in Jakarta on June 23.
