Why vlogger-comedian Divine Tetay got emotional on his birthday

Comedian and vlogger Divine Tetay took time to thank everyone who remembered his birthday on Tuesday, November 7.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, the stand-up comedian became emotional with everyone greeting him on his special day.

“Yes guys that's right, ako talaga yan dahil birthday ko ngayon. Ganon!! I just wanna thank all of you guys who took time to greet me on my ISPEYSHAL day. You're truly sweet! Sobrang ramdam na ramdam ko na importante ako sa inyo, na you wanna make my birthday really special and memorable, higit sa lahat, feel na feel ko na talagang mahal na mahal nyo po ako.”

Tetay also gave a special shoutout to his boyfriend Cris Jayson Hementera for showering him with love and affection.

“Mga ka trabaho, kapamilya, kapuso, kaibigan mga kasama sa bahay pati na rin sa labas ng bahay, mapa lokal o abroad na friends, luma at bagong friends, lahat kayo na kahit hindi pa tayo friends eh gusto kong magpa salamat ng bonggang bongga sa inyo dahil MAHAL nyo ako. Sa nobyo ko na ubod ng bait at mapagmahal. Higit sa lahat, kay Lord na hindi ako pinababayaan. I love you Lord, I love you all!! Happy birthday TETAY! Love love love.”

Meanwhile, Bubble Gang star Chariz Solomon and Mark Herras also commented on Divine Tetay's post.

Aside from being a YouTube content creator, Divine Tetay was also part of Meant To Be (2017) and the drama anthology I Can See You (2020).

He was also one of the hosts of the noontime show It's Your Lucky Day, which temporarily replaced It's Showtime after it was suspended for 12 days by the Movie & Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
