The star-studded birthday and baptism party of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati’s son, Baby Zion is the talk of the town. The momentous celebration, however was not without intrigues.

When Sarah Lahabati’s mother, Esther Lahbati, posted a statement on her Instagram account, @estherlahbati, some netizens speculated that there was friction between Mrs. Lahbati and Richard’s mom, Annabelle Rama.

In her post, Mrs. Lahbati claimed that she felt that she was taken for granted during the party because unlike the other guests, she was neither rich nor famous. She also said that she was made to take out leftover food from the party.

The post was then deleted by Mrs. Lahbati. Following this, both Sarah and Richard expressed on their Instagram accounts that they hope to settle matters within the family.

Annabelle Rama, who is reportedly the person alluded to in Mrs. Lahbati’s post took to Twitter to air her side. Last June 17, she posted a series of tweets in her account, @annabellerama.

She said that she is too busy taking care of Baby Zion to care about intigues. She has no time for people who belittle themselves and she would rather move on, forget the past and just spend time with Baby Zion to get rid of negative vibes. She also thanked all of baby Zion’s well-wishers.

Yesterday, she posted more tweets and expressed how much she and Baby Zion’s grandfather, Eddie Gutierrez loved their grandson.

According to Richard’s interview with 24 Oras, his relationship with Sarah’s parents is okay. Should there be any misunderstandings or miscommunication, they will talk about it and fix it within the family.
