Ruffa Gutierrez mourns death of her fur baby Simba just days before Christmas
Actress and endorser Ruffa Gutierrez is feeling a bit down this Christmas season, after she shared the sad news that her five-year-old dog Simba passed away on December 18, 2023.
Ruffa, the only daughter of Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez, posted a carousel of photos and videos with her dearest Simba on Instagram. She wrote, “You were the friendliest, the most handsome, most energetic fur baby! 🐾 I never liked big dogs but I changed my mind when I met you 5 years ago because you were such a playful cutie.”
Ruffa added, “As a baby you ran around the house looking for the next shoe or slipper to chew on. 🐕 You would always wanna snuggle and sleep next to me until you grew so big that you needed your own bed. I will miss your wagging tail & loud barks every time I would come home and give you a treat. 🏡
“The intense grief I am feeling today because you are no longer with us has left me heartbroken. 💔 I can't stop crying. 😭
“Simba, i will always be grateful for the time we had together. Thank you for all the precious memories. Until we meet again. I love you my biggest fur baby! 😩💔 Sleep tight..”
The former beauty queen admitted in a separate post that this Christmas celebration will be hard for all of them, since Simba is no longer around.
“Your unconditional love was truly the greatest gift of all, Simba.
“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such a special part of our lives. 🐾
“We will forever miss you, most especially this Christmas. 🎄🐶😭 #GoneTooSoon #MyBestFriend.”
Raymond Gutierrez reacted to his sister's post saying, “We will miss Simba ❤️😢sending you and the girls extra love today.”
Meanwhile, Stolen Life actress Carla Abellana, who also lost her pet dog Patches last August commented on Ruffa's IG post: “Oh no. I'm so sorry, Ate Ruffa.”
