Naging magkasintahan sina Xian Lim at Kim Chiu noong 2012 at kinumpirma ang kanilang hiwalayan ilang araw bago matapos ang 2023.
Matapos ang ilang buwang ispekulasyon, kinumpirma nina Xian Lim at Kim Chiu ang kanilang hiwalayan sa pamamagitan ng social media ilang araw bago ang Pasko.
Sa hiwalay na Instagram posts kagabi, December 23, ibinahagi ng ex-couple ang kanilang mga mensahe sa isa't isa kalakip ang ilang sweet photos nilang magkasama.

"The 12 years of my life with you was the best gift I could ever ask for. We have expressed our love for each other to the fullest and knowing that I got to share those moments with you, knowing our hearts beat as one at one point in our lives is truly something I will cherish for life."
Kahit nagtapos na ang kanilang relasyon, puro kabutihan ang wish at papuri pa rin ang ibinigay ni Xian kay Kim.

Sa post naman ni Kim, sinabi niyang isang mutual decision ang hiwalayan nila ni Xian.
Hindi nabanggit ni Kim kung kailan sila opisyal na nag-break pero, aniya, hinayaan muna nilang bigyan ng sapat na oras ang kani-kanilang sarili para maghilom bago isapubliko ang bagong yugtong ito sa kanilang buhay na ikinalungkot ng maraming "KimXI" fans.
