Chanty Videla admits missing lifestyle in South Korea
Chanty Videla admitted that she misses South Korea.
On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday, the Sparkle star noted that it is the lifestyle she had there that she missed.
“And the members, of course. As well as our schedules as a K-pop group and everything,” she added in a mix of Filipino and English.
Despite this, Chanty said she is learning how to be appreciative and grateful for what she currently has.
“Because these are also some things I prayed for—to be able to work and earn for my family,” she shared. “I’m happy with everything I have, with how everything is going."
Chanty is a Filipino member of the K-pop girl group Lapillus. The group of Chanty, Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun debuted in 2022 with the song "Hit Ya!" That same year, Chanty signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
Lapillus was among the artists who attended, won awards, and performed at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards held at the Philippine Arena.
In April 2024, Chanty indefinitely postponed her activities with the group following struggles with her health.
In 2025, Chanty said that Lapillus was just on a break.
In March this year, she clarified that the group had not disbanded yet, but had yet to receive updates from their agency, MLD Entertainment. —Nika Roque/CDC, GMA News
