Carla Abellana welcomes the challenge brought by 'Ismol Family' and 'My Destiny'

Kapuso actress Carla Abellana is one of the few stars who have simultaneous TV projects. Aside from her weekly hosting job in Sunday All Stars, the Yahoo Celebrity Awards Actress of the Year nominee is also part of Ismol Family with Ryan Agoncillo, and My Destiny with Tom Rodriguez.
Carla doesn't mind getting her hands full at this point in her career. In fact, she welcomes the challenge with open arms.
"Ngayon pa lang actually, iniisip ko siya natsa-challenge na ako kasi ang characters magkaiba, araw-araw iba ang characters na pine-play ko, pero kakayanin naman. So very thankful ako kasi may sitcom ako, may soap opera ako. At least more work, more opportunities, tapos magkaibang-magkaiba ng genre."
She is also happy to be working with Dominic Zapata again, who is directing Ismol Family. He was also the director of the phenomenal drama My Husband's Lover, which starred Carla, Tom, and Dennis Trillo.
Si Bb. Joyce Bernal naman ang magiging direktor niya sa My Destiny. "Isa 'yun sa mga pinapangarap ko bilang artista, na sana makatrabaho ko siya."
Kung isang sitcom ang Ismol Family, kakaibang drama naman ang bagong primetime series na muli nilang pagtatambalan ni Tom. "The story is really beautiful. Napaka-basic, nakapa-simple, pero ito 'yung isa sa mga classic na story na gusto natin. Ito 'yung isa sa mga classic stories na kumakagat pa rin sa puso natin. Looking forward din ako na napapaligiran ako ng mga mahuhusay na artista, at looking forward ako na matuto sa kanila."
