Basketball player, TV host, student leader, commercial model and businessman – Chris Tiu wears many hats. Because of that plus his charming looks, there’s no denying that girls want him and guys want to be like him. He is the personification of the dream guy.
This heartthrob graduated with degrees in Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering and a Minor in Chinese Studies in the Ateneo de Manila University. He’s also involved in extra-curricular work as he became a Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman during his younger years.
What made him popular, though, is his excellent basketball skills. He began playing in high school where he competed for the Xavier School Golden Stallions. When he reached college, he became the star player of the Ateneo Blue Eagles. He led the team in winning the first crown of their five-peat reign from 2008 to 2012.
He then went on to represent the country as one of the players and the team captain of the Smart Gilas Pilipinas national team. Today, he plays for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the PBA.
Aside from being a basketball player, he is also a loving husband to childhood sweetheart Clarisse Ong and the host of educational Kapuso program iBilib.
