Lauren Young is into lesbianism?

After surprising audiences in her daring role in Overtime, Kapuso actress Lauren Young intends to get more serious with acting.

 

Lauren shared sensual scenes with Richard Gutierrez and this made her older sister Megan Young a little uneasy.

 

“Yung love scene, hindi ko kinaya. Medyo na-shock ako. Ako, never pa ako gumawa ng ganun ka-daring,” the Ms. World titlist said.

 

Lauren explained she is open to doing intimate scenes as long as it adds value to the movie.

 

“If it’s just going to be another masabi lang na may eksena ka, I just don’t see the point. But if it’s called for in the film, in the movie, then I wouldn’t be maarte about it naman,” she said.

 

Aside from this, Lauren also wants to give life to struggling characters.

 

“I wanna play a drug addict who is trying to recover, tapos nag-relapse siya so back to recovery again. Also, a young mother na trying to strive for her family. Hindi ‘yung struggles of being pregnant, but also the struggles of raising a child as a single young mother,” she began.

 

The young actress is also interested to do more psychological roles, and those dealing with sickness like cancer.

 

“But my top right now, I wanna do lesbian,” she revealed.

 

“I wanna do [it] ‘coz mostly kasi it’s more from the gay side, it’s more on, you know, guys. I wanna culture and give knowledge naman, and give light to lesbianism, she said.
