Chiz made me paint again – Heart Evangelista

After the success of her first solo art exhibit last May, Kapuso actress and host Heart Evangelista is prepping up for her next one.
Heart is about to finish her sixth painting for her exhibit next year. Though it would be her second art show, she claimed that painting again comes with pressure.
“It’s a bit of a challenge because you have to showcase something different, different but same. Same that identifies your style but [shows] growth,” she shared in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
Heart said there was a time when she stopped painting because she felt that she was just replicating the feel of her last art works.
However, her beau Sen. Chiz Escudero and their recent Euro trip have given her renewed inspiration.
“He was the one who actually made me start painting again. He was the one that bought my big canvas so I can start painting big. So he really encouraged me to paint, he’s definitely an inspiration,” she said.
“After I got back from Paris, I totally changed. I couldn’t paint anymore the same paintings as before. In fact, whenever someone would ask me about commission work, di ko na maulit ‘yung mga ginawa ko before which is a good thing,” she added.
While Heart prefers women as the subjects of her art, she said Chiz is her ultimate muse.
“I’ve already painted him actually before. I have a sketch. It was watercolour,” she added.
