Though it’s not her first time, Heart still feels excited about it.
“It’s always an experience to attend something like that, especially hindi ko naman ‘yun mundo. You’ll always learn something new pag nag-a-attend ka ng mga ganoon,” she said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
Heart, however, emphasized that they still provide enough space for each other’s lives.
“We try kasi to separate our lives, ‘yung ginagawa niya, [‘yung] ginagawa ko. So hindi ako masyadong sumasama sa kanya, only pag talagang major events. Pero ‘yung mga iba, hindi masyado,” she said.
Heart admitted that she is a proud girlfriend.
“I really don’t feel he is [a senator] ‘coz when he’s with me he’s so normal. But then when I see him speak on TV or sa isang occasion, I fall in love with him all over again. Parang he really takes my breath away,” she said.
“When he speaks, para talagang naliliwanagan ka sa mga bagay-bagay. I’m super proud that he is my boyfriend,” she added.
She said her boyfriend does not have concrete plans for the 2016 elections just yet, but she will support his decision.
“Kung ano na lang siguro ang gusto niya, di ba. Kung para naman sa kanya talaga ‘yun, mangyayari at mangyayari. Pero kung hindi naman din, you know there’s a beautiful life that’s waiting for us naman din. Kung hindi ‘yun ang mangyari sa kanya. So really ako, anything,” she said.
