Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo continues to rack up invitations since winning her crown.
Current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo has definitely hit the ground running as she continues to be invited to various events, with the latest one being a Santacruzan parade in the city of Manila.
Several photos of Chelsea as the Reyna ng mga Sampaguita was uploaded onto the Miss Universe Philippines official Instagram account. The parade held in Sampaloc, Manila saw Chelsea were an elaborate pale peach Filipiniana gown that she paired with an equally elaborate fan.
The Sampaloc Santacruzan parade is the latest event Chelsea has taken part in since winning the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
At the start of the month, Chelsea attended a a Pride Month event organized by LoveYourselfPH, a volunteer community providing free HIV testing, counseling, treatment, and life coaching. in the caption to the post, the organization shared that Chelsea stressed the “importance of being an ally to the community and pride in being your authentic self.”
Chelsea Manalo has also been in the hot seat of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, an experience that she says was a checked item on her bucket list. According to Chelsea, what she thought would be a nerve wracking experience instead turned out to be “fun and light.”
Chelsea also made sure to stop by GMA morning show Unang Hirit during her first day out as Miss Universe Philippines, as well as met some members of the media at a small press conference.
