Kapuso actor Jon Lucas celebrated his 29th birthday on August 18.
As he received a lot of blessings this year, Jon decided to celebrate his birthday by giving back to those in need.
The actor visited the Gabay sa Landas Foundation (GALA) in Rizal, a Christian ministry that rescues and fosters street children.
Jon held a simple birthday party in GALA with the children that the foundation fosters.
They played games, enjoyed some food, and Jon even treated them to ice cream. He also donated some supplies to the foundation.
"29th birthday kasama ang mga mahal kong kaibigan sa Gabay Sa Landas Foundation. Nice seeing you all. Sana'y nabusog tayong lahat at nag-enjoy ❤️ See you again soon," he wrote on Instagram.
Jon recently finished work in the full action series Black Rider where he emerged as one of the standout performers.
He played the main kontrabida Calvin opposite primetime action hero Ruru Madrid.
Jon admitted that he almost gave up his career in showbiz as he felt he was not progressing before landing the role in Black Rider.
He received an award for his performance as Calvin and now feels more inspired to continue to hone his craft.
The series ended in a high note, earning 15.6 combined ratings from GMA-7, GTV, and Pinoy Hits according to Nielsen Philippines.
This is an all-time high for the whole run of Black Rider and is higher than the 14.7 combined ratings of the program on the same timeslot.
