Heart’s choices: Feb. 15 wedding, white motif and signature French shoes

Clad in all-white, Heart Evangelista celebrated with her closest friends and a few relatives at the Neo Day Spa in The Fort, Taguig last September 1.
Heart’s guests joined her in watching her new viral video and commercial for the newest Pond’s product that she is endorsing, Pond’s Dewey Rose Whitening Soft Gel.
Undoubtedly, Heart is at her happiest and most beautiful.
What is her secret in having that distinct glow?
“It’s really about taking care of yourself, eating the right food and really making an effort to put yourself on top priority. For me, that’s important when I work. I work hard hard to take care of my skin,” the Kapuso actress and host told GMANetwork.com.
When asked how she is preparing for her upcoming wedding, Heart said: “At this point I’m still just starting. Parang it’s so new to me, so everything is falling into place. Tomorrow, I’m meeting my wedding coordinator. It’s so huge.”
“We’re still on the planning stage. We don’t even know what exact date it would be. Maybe March or Feb. [We’re taking it] slowly but surely,” she added.
How true are the rumors that she and Senator Chiz Escudero would be tying the knot on her birthday, February 14?
She answered, “I wanted actually Feb. 15, because 15 plus 15 equals 30 and I turn 30 on Valentine’s Day. We’re still figuring out what the exact date should be, but the goal really is Feb. 15.”
As for the theme, Heart wants something all white with a touch of salmon or pink. Right now, her friends are helping her decide.
“I don’t want to be so obsessed about it so I won’t get so stressed,” she quipped.
As of now, she has not talked to any designer yet regarding her wedding gown, but she already knows what kind of shoes she wants for her wedding.
“It’s the Christian Louboutin crystal-studded one, but it’s so hard to find. We’re still figuring it out,” she said.
If there is anything that Heart is most thankful for at this stage, it is the support of her fiancé, Senator Chiz Escudero.
She shared, “He’s super involved. In fact, ang plano niya, he just wants me to walk down the aisle but hindi naman puwedeng iyon lang ang gawin ko. He’s very hands-on but he also allows me to enjoy the little things that I would do.”
More details about the wedding will be revealed in the days to come. Reports said they will tie the knot in Balesin island in Quezon Province.
For now, this is what Heart has to say: “All I know is we want it to be very intimate, very private and then we’ll have two days. One is far away and one where we could celebrate with all our friends.”
