Chiz changed my character – Heart

“It changed my character talaga.”
This was Heart Evangelista’s response when asked about her relationship with Sen. Chiz Escudero on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
Sen. Chiz’s former marriage nor their 15-year age gap were both of no importance to the Kapuso actress and host.
“If I didn’t end up with him, I could’ve been a worse person,” she said.
Her senator-beau was married to singer Christine Flores. Their 10 years together brought twins to their lives.
In 2011 it was however confirmed that Sen. Chiz and Christine separated. Their marriage was annulled in 2012. That same year, the senator found a second chance at love with Heart.
According to the power couple, their age gap impacts their relationship positively.
“We get to learn from each other in so far as our experiences. And I guess it works” Sen. Chiz said.
“I learn so much from him, not like before [na] parang I feel like I wasn’t growing as a person. I’ve matured a lot when I started to date this guy and I like that,” Heart added.
“Super magkaiba talaga kami, but I think that’s what makes it work. We’re not bored with our relationship. It’s a never-ending discussion,” she concluded.
