Even if it's been several years since her time as Miss Universe, Catriona Gray continues to push for the advocacies close to her heart, with one of them being Smile Train Philippines.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, the beauty queen posted an Instagram Reel talking about the work that she does with Smile Train, an organization that she describes as “incredible” and “dedicated to bringing smiles to countless faces around the globe”. Catriona also called on her fans and followers to support the organization's vision to “transform the world one smile at a time.”
Catriona's Smile Train video is just the latest work she's done for her multiple advocacies. Back in August, Catriona attended and shared photos of her at the 100th birthday of Nana Magdalena Gamayo, an inabel weaver that was declared a National Living Treasure by the NCCA back in 2012. The celebration was held in Nana Magdalena's home province of Ilocos Norte. Catriona visited in her capacity as the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) ambassador.
In the caption of one of the posts, Catriona said she felt fulfilled to see more of the country's incredible artisans being recognized on a national level. Catriona also called for “continued gestures and support” for the country's artists and artisans.
Catriona has also previously featured the province of Ilocos Norte in her #RaiseYourFlag advocacy, which seeks to promote different regions in the country.

A month before that, Catriona was supporting another advocacy of hers -- HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) awareness. She attended the 25th International Aids Conference in Munich, Germany. The International Aids Conference started in 1985 and is considered the world's largest conference on HIV and AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). Catriona toured the Global Village at the conference and the LoveYourselfPH booth and interviewed LoveYourselfPH officers.
Last year, Catriona delivered a keynote speech in Bangkok about “Breaking Barriers: Combating Stigma in HIV Care for Young Priority Populations”.
Catriona was also the LoveYourselfPH ambassador at the Asian Stigma & Discrimination Forum 2023 held in Singapore last June.
