“It’s really the year of love. Everybody’s on that chapter in their lives,” declared Kapuso actress-host Heart Evangelista.
Heart’s ex-boyfriend John Prats recently just proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Isabel Oli.
Heart and Isabel are friends, having worked together in GMA shows like Forever and Magkano Ba Ang Pag-ibig?
“Sobrang happy ako para sa kanila. Noong nakausap ko si Isabel, nag-uusap kami about love life. Talagang sinabi ko sa kanya na alam mo, bagay kayo ni Pratty. I’m so happy for her. I’m so happy for them,” said Heart.
She added, “Talagang meant to be sila. Isa ako sa supporters nila and fan nila ako.”
Heart herself is busy with preparations for her wedding. She shared that she and fiancé, Senator Chiz Escudero have already started shooting their pre-nup video.
“Siyempre nandiyan ‘yung mga ginagawa namin ni Chiz na kaming dalawa lang. Nag-shoot na kami ng isang araw. Nakakatawa kasi nakasama ko na rin ang real life sweetheart ko sa pag-arte,” she said.
“Nahirapan siya, pero sobrang masayahing tao naman iyon, so na-capture naman ni Bob Nicolas ‘yung kanyang moments,” added the chinita beauty.
Their pre-nup video was shot in Sorsogon City, the same place where Chiz proposed to Heart.
The actress also expressed her excitement for her wedding reception, which will be a concert of sorts. Heart will be inviting friends from different TV networks to perform in their reception.
“Excited ako sa mga makaka-experience ng aming reception kasi kaunti lang ang makaka-experience ng aming kasal sa Balesin, so we want to make sure na makabawi kami sa reception namin.”
There are rumors that internationally renowned Filipina designer Monique Lhuillier will be designing Heart’s wedding gown. The actress said that nothing is final yet.
“We are talking to her people, but we’re still fixing the schedule dahil ang alam ko, ang minimum na time is seven months, so ayoko din naman ma-stress,” she said.
“Basta ako, as much as possible, gusto ko ng local designer at hindi naman importante kung sino ang gagawa ng gown. Kahit simpleng gown lang iyan, kahit bagong designer lang iyan. Ang importante, masaya ka,” added Heart.
She is also very happy that she and her Dad have patched things up.
“At the end of the day, kung magdedecide siya na hindi siya makakapunta for his own personal reasons, I am still gonna be his daughter and we’re still gonna be a family and nothing will change,” said Heart.
