BLACKPINK's Lisa expressed her sadness over the devastation caused by the earthquake that hit Myanmar yesterday, March 28.
BLACKPINK member Lisa has issued a statement after a powerful earthquake hit the city of Sagaing in central Myanmar yesterday, March 28.
The earthquake reached a magnitude 7.7 and destroyed several buildings and infrastructure in Myanmar; the tremor was so powerful that it was even felt in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
In her Instagram Story, Lisa, a proud native of Thailand, is praying for everyone's safety and those affected by the natural calamity.
She wrote, “Sending prayers to everyone affected by the earthquake. Please stay safe.”
According to a report by GMA News Online, the death toll in Myanmar and Thailand due to the devastating earthquake has surpassed 700 people.
