June 11 to 15, 2007: Foretold Misfortune

Impostora, we met Adelle and her conjoined twin daughters Sara and Lara. Pregnant with the twins, Adelle was given the prophecy that their birth will only bring death and misfortune to her family. It was a prophecy she did not heed until the twins were already becoming young ladies. Henry, Adelle’s husband, tried to take back the inheritance that was rightfully his by stealing it from his greedy half-brother’s house. But when the robbery failed, Henry lost was killed, forcing a guilt-ridden Delfin to continue with what his half-brother had wanted: an operation to separate the conjoined twins. Adelle refused Delfin’s help, and thus he built a fake charity organization just for the twins. But misfortune still surrounded the twins when Adelle was compelled to ask for help from Delfin. Coming into contact with Betty instead, Adelle got into a shouting match with her late husband’s half-sister-in-law that led to an accident - turning her into an invalid and forcing her newly separated twins to leave school and work for their family. A fire then destroyed Adelle’s house and a car accident killed Delfin, leaving the family with nowhere to live in and no one to turn to. And when a distant relative arrived to adopt Sara, Adelle felt obligated as a mother to provide at least one of her daughters a better a life. With the twins no longer conjoined, it seems as if fate wants them farther apart. How will Adelle and her twin daughters deal with this new challenge in their lives?
