Lauren Young on her boyfriend: 'He's not a boy, he's a man'

Hindi nakatakas si Lauren Young sa mga tanong tungkol sa kanyang love life nang ipagdiwang niya ang kanyang kaarawan sa Child Haus last November 27. Naibahagi kasi ng Hiram na Alaala star na kasama sa kanyang birthday wish every year ang maging wiser and more mature.
"With love naman, I think it's not just about who you're with but it's also about who you are as well. I've also learned to love myself, and now that I love myself more, it's easier for me to be in a healthy relationship. And that's what I have right now, I'm in a very healthy relationship," pahayag ng aktres.
Bago pa lamang daw ang kanyang relasyon sa kanyang non-showbiz boyfriend pero matagal na silang magkaibigan.
"We're friends here in Manila, we're also both from Subic. We both go to La Salle. It's very convenient (laughs)."
Kamusta naman ito bilang boyfriend?
"He's a very smart guy. And he's not a boy, he's a man. I think he's very mature, he knows what he wants in life. My world is different from his, and showbiz can really eat you up, so he really brings me down. He just makes me really happy and he really pushes me to work harder not just with my career but also the importance of my school."
Pinabulaanan din ni Lauren ang issue na kaya niya sinagot ang kanyang boyfriend ay dahil umamin na si Elmo Magalona na girlfriend na niya si Janine Gutierrez.
"There's no hard feelings. We all have our own lives and I'm very happy with my life right now. Whatever I do, hindi siya puwedeng isabit sa kung ano mang mayroon sila. We're not part of each other's lives anymore. Kung ano man ang ginagawa ko, it's not because he's doing this. Kung ano man ang ginagawa niya, it's not because I'm doing this," she explains.
Recently ay nagsalita na rin si Elmo tungkol sa kanilang nakaraan ni Lauren, at sinabing open naman siyang makatrabaho ang aktres in the future.
