Many remember Kris Bernal as this sweet yet talented girl in the fourth season of StarStruck in 2006, who won together with Mart Escudero as the Ultimate Love Team.
But she didn't rest on her laurels after succeeding in the reality TV search, instead she honed her skills even more.
Kris built a reputation as a bankable soap opera actress doing several TV successful drama series like 'Impostora' (2017), 'Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko' (2018), and 'Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko' (2019) to name a few.
In addition, the Kapuso actress also reinvented herself by putting up her own businesses, a Korean barbecue restaurant and a beauty line called She Cosmetics.

When the government implemented the enhanced community quarantine in March 2020, Kris Bernal decided to spend more time with her family. Check out her Instagram post on March 18, where she's seen taking a walk near her home with her brother-in-law and nephews.
Although stuck at home, Kris maintained an active lifestyle by regularly working out.
Kris also took the opportunity to learn new skills during quarantine by taking online classes.
Kris shared an appreciation post for her fiancé Perry Choi on Instagram on April 8. She said, “It's not the absence that makes my heart fonder. It's the work we put into keeping that intimacy and connection alive despite the distance. Everyday has been a date night with my fiance' via a video call, over midnight snack. Having these video calls when we're less busy have given us the chance to have in-depth discussions about ourselves, each other, our family, our goals. True enough our personality styles really complement each other.”

Kris Bernal celebrated her 31st birthtday during quarantine. According to her post, she might be under so much uncertainty and stress, but the love from the people who matters in her life pushes her to keep going. “My heart (and belly) were so full! This pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainty and stress - but as I read through the well wishes sent my way, I realized it's times like these that help me remember what really matters in life - MY FRIENDS & FANS, FAMILY & LOVED ONES, HEALTH, and FAITH in the Lord! With a great amount of gratitude, thank you so much for all your birthday greetings and gifts! I felt loved and appreciated!”
In May 2020, Kris Bernal's House of Gogi restaurant adapted to the new normal by opening a takeout and pickup service. She then temporarily closed it down when the cases started to spike again. Later on, she announced that she converted the resto into a mini-mart.
With or without COVID-19, Kris Bernal is one determined woman, who will not stop in achieving her goals. Kudos to this girl boss!
