Robot vacuum cleaners

Did you know that the robot vacuum cleaner goes way back in 1996? Electrolux first introduced the idea with its Trilobite, but was later discontinued because it kept colliding with objects and leaving areas uncleaned.

Almost 10 years later, three roboticists founded the iRobot and launched the Roomba in 2002. This product proved to be successful because it had intelligent programming and can clean without any human control.

Today, the advantage of using a robot vacuum cleaner is it's very quiet compared to a regular one and it's also more convenient because they can vacuum on their own. Another plus is it takes only a small space when not used and can be hidden under the bed or desk

Several versions of the robot vacuum cleaner are available in the market ranging from PhP1,000 to PhP15,000.
