We've finally closed a seemingly dark chapter of 2020 and moved on to celebrate a new year.
Since most of us see the new year as a new beginning and another chance to give our goals a go, the same can be said to Kapuso celebrities.
In 2019, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards starred in the highest-grossing Filipino movie, 'Hello, Love, Goodbye,' alongside Kathryn Bernardo. In 2020, Alden remained active in show business even if there is a community quarantine in place.
Alden continues to host the longest-running variety show, 'Eat Bulaga,' during the quarantine. Alden also starred in the series 'I Can See You: Love on the Balcony' alongside Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and hosted a food documentary titled 'Lockdown: Food Diaries.'
Aside from these, Alden also celebrated his 10th anniversary in showbiz with the first virtual reality concert in the Philippines, 'Alden's Reality,' alongside numerous magazine covers.
This year, Alden hopes to bring his talents abroad and star in an international film. He said, "[I'm] trying to get opportunities abroad, especially in terms of projects, mga acting roles."
"At tsaka, baka mag-serye [ako] ng second or third quarter ng year."
