Bea Alonzo is now a Kapuso. The award-winning actress made it official during a contract signing last July 1, witnessed by GMA Network executives.
With that, the 33-year-old actress is on to a new chapter in her already successful showbiz career.
The truth is Bea needs no further introduction. She started in showbiz young, which means she grew up before the public eye.
Bea's bankability as an actress is tested and proven. The list of blockbuster movies under her resume is proof of her acting chops and star appeal.
Plus, she possesses one of the prettiest faces in show business.

Bea's real and full name is Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom. She is half-British, half-Filipino.
Her birthday is on October 17, 1987.
Bea is the eldest among four siblings and is very close with her family.

Bea's path to showbiz started when she joined the Mutya ng Pasig pageant. She was Binibining Santolan in 2001.
One of the invited judges in the pageant were designer Oskar Peralta. Oskar referred Bea to his best friend Archie Ilagan, who eventually became the actress' first manager.
Bea's first TV show was the youth-oriented program K2BU in 2002. Joining Bea, who was 13 at the time, were Shaina Magdayao, Angeline Aguilar, and future Miss Universe titlist Pia Wurtzbach.
Bea's first film was the 2003 young romance film, My First Romance.
The two-episode film starred Heart Evangelista and John Prats, and Bea and John Lloyd Cruz.
Bea's screen partnership with John Lloyd Cruz is one of the most-loved and memorable in Philippine cinema.
The two, however, started off awkwardly and were not friends although they were already marketed as a love team.
“Hindi kami magkaaway, hindi lang kami friends. Nung time na nag-uumpisa ako, hindi niya talaga gusto na ako 'yung nandun, alam ko. Hindi ko naman siya masisi. Mahirap pa ako makatrabaho kasi ang bata ko nun,” Bea told PEP.ph
“Biruin mo, never ako nakalimot ng lines. Pero biruin mo, lagi ako natatakpan ng camera niya, 'yung ilaw niya. Kasi hindi ko alam kung paano, e. Umaarte na ako, wala na pala ako sa camera. 'Tapos umiiyak na siya, natakpan ko pala 'yung camera niya. So I had to do it again.”
Bea admitted finding John Lloyd “mayabang” at first. The two eventually managed to find common ground and have been friends for years now.
Bea loves to travel and discovering cultures outside her home country
She enumerated her top ten travel destinations in one of her vlog episodes and these are Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Paris in France, Prague in Czech Republic, Japan, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Copenhagan in Denmark, Vienna in Austria, Norway, Florence in Italy, and Germany.

Bea said they acquired the land in 2011 through 'Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit' star Isabel Rivas, who also manages and owns a farm in the mountainous province called Paradise Farm.
Beati Firma is home to mahogany trees, mango trees, calamansi trees, and different kinds of farm animals like livestock and poultry.
According to Bea, she was hesitant at first to put up a farm because it demands a lot of manpower and time but, eventually, went on with it with the help of some friends and her mom, Mary Anne Ranollo (pictured), who is the one who's into farming in their family.
Bea's vlog on YouTube has 1.75 million subscribers to date.
Bea said she had a blast shooting her very first Christmas Station ID for GMA this year. It officially marked her first Christmas as a Kapuso.
In a vlog uploaded on her YouTube channel from Saturday, May 29, 2021, Bea Alonzo revealed that when she visited Paris in 2016, she dropped by Notre-Dame Cathedral to pray for her broken heart.
She was part of Gloc 9 and Skusta Clee's music video for the song "Karma," released in November 2021.
