Kim Atienza, also known as the "Kuya ng Bayan," is officially a Kapuso!
The renowned TV personality officially made the move to the Kapuso Network on October 4, 2021.
Through the years, Kim Atienza has proven his excellence and dedication in storytelling and received notable recognitions such as the first "PMS Innovation" award by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Administration (PAGASA) and “Best Educational Program Host” at the Alta Media Icon Awards in 2019.
Aside from being a media personality, Kim Atienza is also a father of three children, a triathlete, and a born-again Christian.
One fact about Kuya Kim Atienza is that he has served as a councilor of Manila City's fifth district for three terms from 1995 to 2004.

In 2010, Kim Atienza suffered from a stroke, but he still managed to become a triathlete a year after that incident. In 2013, he was diagnosed with a rare disease called Guillain Barre syndrome and considered his illness as the best thing that happened to him.

Kuya Kim Atienza owns various animals including dogs, birds, turtles, and more in his humble abode.
In one of his vlogs, Kim Atienza showcased his vintage Vespa GS 160 motorcycle, which is one of the rarest Vespas in the country.
In case you missed it, Kim Atienza shared a photo with Korean star Gong Yoo in 2017. He wrote, “Eto na! Walang Photoshop, walang edit. Me and my kalokalike #gongyoo @kuyakimshin.” Since then, Kim Atienza has been posting some of his ads inspired by the popular Korean actor on his Instagram account.
