Body positivity

In one of her posts, she promotes loving your own body.

"I made a promise to myself that I'd start appreciating what my body can do and stop focusing on what it can't. I promised to stop analyzing every angle and every curve and every pound and every meal (I'm still working on these). That's why I think it's time to remind our minds to be kinder to ourselves. Don't let your mind bully your body."

Her story

She also shared her story on facing criticisms because of her body type.

"Growing up as a big girl, I received a lot of criticisms, harsh words, and attacks because my body doesn't meet the stereotypes. I was body-shamed by a lot of people in the industry.

But this doesn't affect me. I turned my weakness into a motivation because I know to myself that beauty is meant for everyone. It should not be limited to a particular beauty standard set by the stereotypes."

Redefined beauty

Trisha Martinez says that body types do not define someone's worth.

"I found the value of constructive criticism. We are in an era where we redefined beauty. As a certain, body figure has nothing to do with one's capacity and worth as a human being."

Answer

Trisha Martinez answered, "In year 2019, more than half of the registered voters in the country belong to the two youngest generations which are millennials and gen z. I think this is a huge portion to know and realize that we have the power in our hands to choose the best leader that would listen to its people and a leader that would create a humane and fair society. We all want a better country so let us use our suffrage because for when we do not vote, the best leader would not win."
