Rhian Ramos, dropped by the fans because of Mo Twister

Last week, fans of Rhian Ramos went up in arms after rumors of a relationship between their idol and the controversial DJ Mo Twister surfaced. “Some of them are really upset, but some of the stuck with me. And I’m really thankful to them.” On Thursday night, Rhian answered some questions from the press about the issue. “It’s nakakalungkot that some of them took the joke way too seriously and destroyed our relationship over a silly joke. But it’s okay, because I can’t please everyone and I’m not trying to.” As for the supposed relationship that’s blooming between her and DJ Mo? “That’s our joke on the radio,” Rhian explained. “Pero ‘yung mga (frequent na) nakikinig lang sa radio show, sila lang ‘yung nakaka-gets.” Rhian continued on to say that there’s nothing romantic going on between her the radio disc jockey. “I’m working and he’s working; he has his world, and I have my world. I’m enjoying my life. I’m not even grown-up yet to make those kinds of decisions.” Sunday, Rhian appeared on Showbiz Central to put the issue to rest. With Mo Twister as part of the Central Jury, Host Raymond Gutierrez took the opportunity to get to the bottom of things. Asked what Rhian feels about being dropped by some of her fans, Rhian answered, “Well siyempre, may konting tampo na rin ako kasi may pinagsamahan na kami. But of course I can’t force them to support me. Whatever their choices are... That’s what I like about them, they’re very vocal, they’re very real. Walang ka-plastikan.” Rhian also refuted that there’s something more between her and Mo Twister. “We are friends, absolutely. I don’t see why it’s a problem that we are friends.” She explained that Mo had a running joke on his radio show where he would always greet her and say that she’s his crush. And she took the joke further by greeting Mo as well during her stint at Unang Hirit. Asked why no one seemed to get the show, Rhian joked, “It’s all his fault!” DJ Mo Twister had this to say though, “Sila [Rhian’s fans] dapat ‘yung maka-alam nung truth. If they’re true friends, they should know that me and Rhian are just friends.” “Hindi siguro nila na-gets, I don’t know if they listen to the show,” Rhian followed. “I think Rhian has become one of my closest friends, I’m not going to deny that part,” the DJ continued, in response to the their supposed romance going on between him and Rhian. “Pero as a relationship na romantic, there’s nothing.” As for Rhian, here’s her message to her fans: “For the fans that left, I hope you’re happy. Take care, I guess. And thanks for the short time na nagsama nga tayo. Sa mga fans na nag-stay, I hope makikita ko kayo sa Ouija premiere. Kita-kita na lang.
