The grace of growth

To mark the start of a new year, Bianca shared her promise to be more compassionate to herself as she continues learning and growing as an artist.

"Taking this next year to take myself more seriously. I'll be putting out projects I've been working on for the past 1-2 to even 3 years and appreciate all the nurture and healing that's come and [will come] from it. External validation has always felt like a contradiction to me and I've never allowed myself to hear it. But I'm hoping to start listening more dedicatedly this year. I'd like to learn how to be kinder to myself and to give myself the grace I give to others," she penned in an Instagram post on Jan. 10.

Turning feelings into art

She also committed to channeling more of her emotions and experiences into her art, saying, "I'm going to go ahead and be young and silly forever and take this unreal bag of grief (and opportunity, love, and loss) the world has given me and turn it into art. Mainly because that's all I really know how to do."
