For many Filipinos, June is the month of celebration of independence. But for some, June is also the celebration of pride-- the colorful history and milestones of the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual) community.
Throughout the years, the rainbow community continues to uplift their lives with the help of the strong allies they have gaines despite of all the struggles and discrimination they faced.
In line with this, many celebrities and rainbow community allies showed their support to their LGBTQIA+ friends through social media posts and joined them celebrating this colorful month.

Actress Kris Bernal is one of the celebrities who showed support for LGBTQIA+ community early this June. On Instagram, Kris posted a powerful message about Pride Month.
She wrote, "The world has bigger problems than boys who kiss boys and girls who kiss girls. Love has no gender, take whoever loves you! Spread the love and always remember that you are human, you are loved, you are valid, you are okay, and important. Happy Pride Month!"
To celebrate this year's Pride Month, Kylie Padilla posted a photo of her lesbian character in a Girls' Love series 'BETCIN,' where she was paired with Andrea Torres. "Happy pride month," she simply wrote.
On Instagram, Ice Seguerra posted a sweet photo together with his wife, Liza Diño. "Happy Pride Month, mga kapatid!!! Mabuhay nang malaya!!!," Ice shared.
Award-winning actor and TV host Paolo Ballesteros turned into a drag queen in his recent make-up transformation just in time with the celebration of Pride Month.
Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 Beatrice Luigi Gomez, shared once again a photo of her wearing a rainbow flag in her Instagram account. Beatrice is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Model-actor Alex Diaz shared a strong message on Instagram in line with the Pride Month. He wrote, "Happy Fuarkin Pride Philippines! Nobody is going to steal your shine--that shh*t is eternal! Keep it, protect it and sprinkle that on everyone that's blessed to witness you!"
Miss International Queen Philippines, Fuschia Anne Ravena shared a heartwarming post for LGBTQIA+ community on Instagram.
Part of her post read, "As the first @miqphilippinesofficial queen, I vow to use my voice and my platform to keep spreading the message of love and fight for acceptance and equality for everyone in our community. I know I am here for a reason and I'm not wasting any chances in making a difference.
"This is just the beginning. A colorful and exciting month awaits...Happy Pride Month kanatong tanan!"
Breakout child actor Awra Briguela together with social media stars Mimiyuuuh and Sassa Gurl are the cover girls for the Pride Month issue of Preview Magazine.
In an article, the said fashion magazine stated, "The girls are brave and defiant. Beyond their contagious comedy acts, [Mimiyuuh, Sassa, and Awra]
are using their platforms to advocate for LGBTQIA rights and inspire the queer kids at home yearning for representation."
Social media superstar Bretman Rock also posted an Instagram Reel to celebrate pride month. In the said video, Bretman proudly displayed his rainbow flag and said, "Gays, wake up! It's motherfu***n Pride Month."
