A new school year started yesterday, August 22 with millions of Filipino students flocking to their schools amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Data from the Department of Education (DepEd) shows that 27.6 million students (private and public schools) have enrolled for this academic year. According to GMA News Online, from August to October, learners will have a combined in-person and distance classes.
But by November 2, students will have five days of face-to-face classes already.
