One of the most romantic Chinese dramas, Put Your Head on My Shoulder, is coming on GMA. The series stars Lin Yi and Xing Fei as Wayne and Molly, respectively.
One of the characters to look forward to in this series is Wayne, a smart, physics student who may seem quiet and cold-hearted, but is actually popular among his peers and is has a caring heart.
In a unique circumstance, he will meet Molly and will live in the same dorm where their story will start.
But before getting to see Wayne, it's time to get to know the actor behind the character, Lin Yi, the Best New Actor of the 4th Golden Bud Network Film and Television Festival.
Lin Yi is an actor and model. He was first discovered by an agent and signed with Tangren Media.
Lin Yi studied in Beijing Sport University and studied National Ballroom Dance as his major. He also received the top score in the unified examination of dance majors in Liaoning Province.
In 2016, he went abroad during his summer vacation to receive professional dance and performance training.
In 2017, Lin Yi made his first appearance in Handsome Youth Society, a show where talented youths from different parts of Asia will be trained to dance and act and become the next idol.
Also in 2017, he entered and won the Youkou fashion Variety Show Crazy Wardrobe, a variety-reality show where they help people choose their clothes to gain confidence in their fashion style.
His debut role, however, was in the Sci-fi film Hope Island
He's 6 ft. 2 inches in height, and is currently 23 years old. His Zodiac sign is Capricorn. He was born in Hebei Province but grew up in Shenyang City in Liaoning Province.
He first gained recognition however, when he starred in the romantic series Put Your Head on My Shoulder. He gained a huge following after the success of the series.
