Ehra’s 3 L’s: Lupin, love, and life

All about Lupin With only a few weeks to go before Lupin’s finale, Ehra would like to thank everyone who has watched the series. “Sobrang thank you, kasi sinuportahan nila kami from day one, and nagustuhan talaga nila. Before di ba, nagkukwento pa lang kami kung ano characters namin! Sobrang na-amaze ako na natuwa sila. And even the kids, tinatawag nila akong ‘Brigitte,’ (kaya) ibig sabihin, wow, nanonood talaga sila! And sana, sa mga coming shows namin, kahit hindi kami magkakasama, suportahan pa rin nila!” Ehra laughed at KCblue’s inquiry if Inspector Clavio (Janno Gibbs) is courting her in real life. “Sa story, oo, pero sa (totoong buhay), hindi!” Ryan_maryam22, on the other hand, asked if it really is difficult to love someone like Lupin, who, in the story, constantly ignores Brigitte’s feelings for him. Ehra replies, “As Brigitte, mahirap talaga! Kasi di ba, mahal talaga (ni Lupin) si Avril? Pero sige, tingnan natin kung mamahalin din niya ako. Sana!” Like most Ehra fans, you’ve probably heard of the rumor that she has a real-life crush on her co-star Richard Gutierrez! So what’s the real deal, Ehra? She answers louie87: “Sinabi ko slight, tapos nag-blush ako, kasi nahihiya ako kay tita Annabelle (Rama)!” The 22-year old actress admits that she’ll definitely miss the production’s bonding moments, especially with direk Mike Tuviera, from whom she has learned so many things about acting. “Kasi first ever primetime show ko ito na ako isa sa mga lead, so as an actress, ang dami ko talagang natutunan kay direk Mike. Kasi first fear ko muna, memorizing lines – medyo nasasanay na ako dun. 'Yung pangalawa, in terms of crying, pag may mga scenes na kailangang umiyak, minsan nahihirapan talaga ako! Kasi ako, bigla akong nagpa-panic, tapos parang nagkakaroon ako ng clammy hands, tapos nagfi-freak out ako! Kasi ako, worrier (talaga)! Sabi ni direk, kailangan mag-relax ako; tinuturuan niya ako kung paano ko imo-motivate sarili ko.” So what’s next for Ehra after Lupin? Ehra answers luv_ehra_kat’s question: “Hindi pa pwedeng sabihin, e, pero abangan niyo na lang!” You can be rest assured, however, that Ehra will be reinforcing her sexy image by posing as the next Tanduay girl! “Actually, nag-press con na kami. Nag-shoot na (rin) kami ng calendar at standee – 'yung calendar, sa December daw nila ire-release. We’re gonna do commercials din, pero I think for 2008 pa ‘yun.” On going sexy FRaPpe_ChiC asked how Ehra feels about having a sister who works in a rival network. “Wala, normal lang, may mga taong nawi-wirduhan, pero wala namang difference – ‘yun lang, nasa kabila lang siya. Hindi naman namin pinaguusapan." When it comes to her limits as a sexy actress, Ehra addresses rogue_ronin71’s question: “Nasagot ko na ‘yan before, na ngayon, hindi ko naman siguro kailangan ipakita -- like everything! As I’ve said, feeling ko, 'yung pagiging sexy ko, image lang. Nagkataon lang na nag-start akong mag-pose (sa magazine), (kaya) pag inisip nila tuloy na Ehra, akala nila, sexy kaagad. Siguro pag dating sa outfits, production numbers sa SOP, palagi akong sexy. Pero in terms kunwari sa movie, siguro pinaka daring muna – kissing scenes. Slowly (lang)!” She adds, “’Yung pagiging sexy ko, hindi naman kailangan totally gumawa ng bold movie or anything – parang ito sa Lupin – di ba sexy outfits, pero hindi naman totally. Pero 'yung pag-portray sa mga as in bold movie, hindi ko pa alam – hindi ko pa nakikita sarili kong ginagawa yun!” To everyone who asked about Ehra’s love life, the answer is yes – she has a boyfriend – a very supportive one, in fact, because Ehra reveals that they have been together even before she became an artista. The lucky guy is an artist too, and he belongs to a popular beat-boxing, a capella-singing band! Intrigued? Well, your guess is as good as ours because she isn’t spilling the beans. Ehra also shares that her first serious relationship was when she was 15 years old, and this relationship, like her current one, also lasted a long time, which is the reason why she never experienced dating a lot. She answers chillanolin’s question and says that she’d rather start out as friends first, instead of dating guys who always put their best foot forward only during the courtship stage. Behind the cam Blue_angel007 and d_generation_X asked Ehra how she maintains her curvaceous figure, but Ehra replied that it’s not as easy as it seems. “Kung hindi ko mapigilang hindi mag-rice, magba-brown rice ako! Pero kailangan, mayroong breakfast-lunch. Nag-South Beach (din) ako for two weeks; medyo nasanay na ako na hindi masyadong nagra-rice, especially since (magpo-pose ako for Tanduay). Syempre, pag nakita ka ng tao, baka sabihin, ‘Ano ba yan?’ Kailangan i-maintain (talaga ang figure). Tinitingnan ko lang kung ano kinakain ko, tapos once in a while, workout (sa bahay).” When Ehra isn’t working, she usually stays at home and hangs out with her non-showbiz friends. For DVD marathons, feel-good movies top her list of favorites. “Basta mostly mga romantic comedies, she tells gon and thyro04, “kasi gusto ko, mga romantic stuff. Gusto ko, kung ano makita ko sa movie, ganoon din mangyari sa akin!” Looks like Ehra’s got a mushy side like all of us! She also answers guwapeng’s inquiry on whether she has plans of going abroad: “Wala pa naman akong racket abroad, pero sana mayroon, di ba? Noong bata pa ako, gusto ko na talaga mag-travel!
