Fantastic Man is now on his second war against bad guys, but the man behind the mask is still the same old goofy Mark Herras fans have loved for years. Speaking of love, with a new battle to fight comes both old and new allies -- is it time for Fantastic Man to find love? Or will he have to fight for that as well? Text by Jason John S. Lim. Photos by Connie M. Tungul. Previously, on Fantastic Man Fredo (Mark Herras) and the others have discovered who has given the college students their mysterious power. And as the battle for the student’s free will commences, PSI Agent Belle (Valerie Concepcion) begins making romantic moves for Fredo. Meanwhile, Fredo had started to become bothered by the attention that Wena (Ryza Cenon) is giving Lloyd (Patrick Garcia). With his Wena-centric fantasies, the fantastic superhero had definitely become super jealous! How will Wena react to this information? Especially after mooning over him for so long? Will she make him more jealous by making moves on the professor who has been helping them round up the missing students? And what of Agent Belle's interest in him? The Fantastic Love Tangle? The show may have gained more characters, but the love tension between Fredo and Wena seems to only be getting stronger. And as Valerie reveals that she plays a part in a love triangle with the two during the time that Patrick is missing in action -- what does that mean for the love team in Fantastic Man? “‘Yan po ‘yung dapat nilang abangan,” Mark answers with a laugh. Patrick’s character Lloyd has begun showing affections for Wena and vice versa, and PSI Agent Belle has started flirting with Fredo, at the rate this is going, the two might even end up with people other than each other! “Sa script nagkakaroon (na) ng love triangle,” Ryza reveals, being one of the fortunate few who have access to future storylines. But even though she doesn’t answer directly, the one she provides is enough to hope that Fredo and Wena do end up together. In a previous interview, the sparks between the two co-stars wer flying. No one may have put it into words, but the spark was still definitely there. And we had to admit that their chemistry was spot on. No wonder fans lap up the tension between Fredo and Wena!
