Christian Bautista is willing to wait for 'the right role in the right time'

Very much like his love life, Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista is willing to wait for his shot in the international theater scene.

His fellow Kapuso singers Mark Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go have already performed in Broadway and West End, with Rachelle Ann staying there for another year to play Fantine in Les Miserables.
"I would love to, with the right role in the right time. Ito namang sina Mark at Rachelle, talagang the show came to them. The show auditions were here, at that time wala silang ginagawa, they auditioned, boom they got the role. Mas maganda kung if it's meant for you talaga, dadating," shares the My Mother's Secret star.
He adds, "Iba-iba naman ang paraan. Sometimes you go there, you live there, makikipagsabayan ka. But sometimes, because the Philippines is world class already, they go here. So hintayin na lang natin."
When asked for the role that he wants to play if given the chance, his desire to play Christian of Moulin Rouge still remains.

"Hindi pa nagagawa sa Broadway or West End, 'yung movie-musical na Moulin Rouge, 'yun ang gusto ko kung papapiliin ako. 'Yung role ni Ewan McGregor, kasi walang sayaw 'yun eh, kaya ko 'yun."
Does he have any plan of watching Rachelle Ann Go perform again?
"Tingnan natin. If there's a job there, tapos mag-swak 'yung schedule."
