Sheryn Regis' daughter Sweety Echiverri is a proud bisexual

The only daughter of power belter Sheryn Regis, Sweety Echiverri recently came out as a member of the LGBTQ community.
In a TV morning talk show, Sweety revealed that she is bisexual, just like her mom.
Through a video message to Sheryn, Sweety opened up about how she had the guts to tell her parents about her sexuality.
“Ang initial reaction ko po when my mom came out, at first I was very surprised kasi my mom never really showed a sign that she was in the closet. And around that time I was also confused about my sexuality and self-identity. I was a young teenager when she first came out to me. Since then when my mom came out to me, I actually had the guts and comfort to come out to her and my dad as bisexual,” Sweety recalled.
Sheryn and her ex-partner Earl Echiverri did not express disappointment over their daughter's revelation. They accepted her and expressed full support for her gender identity.
“Pinag-uusapan din namin whatever Sweety decides, prefers kung ano ang gender preference niya, in-accept namin,” the celebrity singer said.
In 2021, Sheryn also revealed that she is bisexual as she opened up about her relationship with online content creator and entrepreneur Mel De Guia.
