Donita Rose at Eric Villarama, muntik nang mauwi sa divorce

"Yes, we were on the brink of signing divorce papers already."
Ito ang buong tapang na pag-amin ni Donita Rose sa nangyari sa kanila ng kanyang asawang si Eric Villarama.
Nitong Abril ay lumabas ang balitang may problemang pinagdadaanan ang kanilang relasyon, na hindi naman itinanggi ng host-actress.

Pero ngayon, masayang ibinahagi ni Donita sa Startalk na naayos na nila ang gusot sa kanilang pagsasama.
"'Yung prayer ko kay Lord, 'Lord [pipirmahan] ko na ang papers talaga kung hindi siya tumino. And then I asked God to give me one answer. I said, 'Eric, you have to talk to our pastor first. Kapag nagpaalam ka na, I'll sign the papers on our anniversary, June 9. June 6 yata nakausap niya, and then I think June 7 he called me and said, 'I don't know what was going through my mind. Why would we sign divorce papers? This is so stupid.'"

Dagdag pa niya, "Before, lagi kaming nag-aaway and lagi kaming nagkakaroon ng miscommunication especially with the distance between us. Nag-build na 'yung galit namin sa isa't isa, hanggang sa we both realized that we almost lost each other, and at the end of the day, I still love him. I realized that if I love someone with all my heart, I need to humble myself."
Nagpaabot din ng mensahe si Eric, who is currently based in San Diego, California, sa kanyang asawa.
"We have a lot of differences, you know. In marriage, you always have differences but I think it's all about communication. That's what is most important. We talk everyday, I talk to JP everyday, so it's a strong communication nga. I want to say that I'm so proud of her for how far she has gone. She's very great at what she does. I couldn't ask for a better wife or life partner with her, she's the best."
