Vlogger, actress, and entrepreneur Kristel Fulgar is now engaged to her Korean boyfriend, Suhyuk Ha.
In a 25-minute video she uploaded on Facebook today, February 28, Kristel shared the highlight of Suhyuk's proposal.
Kristel's fiancée also talked about the moment he wanted to marry her.
Suhyuk explained in the video, “One the day I shared my past history with her. I had a very hard life, when I was younger.
“She encouraged me and respects me. My life was very hard, my personality is not bad. I tried to improve my life. After sharing that story, I decided that I wanted to marry her.”
In November 2024, Kristel revealed in a vlog that Suhyuk had to convert to her religion, which is Iglesia ni Cristo.
When she went public with her boyfriend, Kristel never regretted waiting for a long time before entering a romantic relationship.
"May pagka-late bloomer man, nakahabol pa rin. Pero, wala akong pagsisisi kasi talaga namang everything is worth the wait," she said in a previous vlog.

Kristel also recalled feeling pressured because most of her batchmates were already married and have their own family.
"I remember parang mga three years ago, medyo napi-pressure na ako kasi nga malapit na ako doon sa gusto kong marrying age which is 30, 31, 32. Tapos, 'yung mga ka-batch ko nagpapakasalan na, may mga anak na."
"I realized sa pagtanda ko, what I really wanted is to have my own family," paliwanag pa ni Kristel.
Nevertheless, Kristel reiterated, "Sobrang worth the wait lahat ng bagay. Hindi ko pinagsisisihan na siya 'yung first boyfriend ko at 29 years old. Diniscuss ko rin sa kaniya na 'yung first boyfriend, gusto ko siya na rin 'yung last ko. Hopefully gusto niya rin 'yun matupad."
She added, "Sinadya ko rin na hindi lumandi ng maaga kasi gusto ko i-reserve 'yung sarili ko para sa future husband ko ng buong buo."
