Angelu De Leon joins Pasig flag raising ceremony as reelected city councilor

After her victorious win in Monday's elections, Angelu De Leon officially began her duties as reelected Pasig City's councilor.
The actress and public servant marked her first day on the job as a reelectionist by joining the city's morning flag raising ceremony, where she was warmly welcomed alongside Mayor Vico Sotto.
"After proclamation, rekta na flag raising ceremony!" Angelu wrote in her Facebook post. "Kahit wala pang tulog at ligo, kailangan natin gampanan ang ating responsibilidad as incumbent City Councilor."
Angelu once again extended her heartfelt gratitude to all who supported and voted for her.
"Muli, ang ating walang katapusang pasasalamat sa lahat ng sumuporta at nagtiwala sa atin. Ganun din ang ating mga kawani ng Lungsod na naglingkod sa natapos na botohan. Tuloy-tuloy lang Pasig!"
The newly reelected councilor topped the race in Pasig City's 2nd district, garnering over 190,000 votes. In previous statements, she shared that her main legislative priorities will focus on the welfare of women, children, and senior citizens, as she hopes to become a "voice of women" in the city council.
