Renowned “It Girl” of the Philippines Solenn Heussaff shares her outlook on the label attached to her name.

The Kapuso star disclosed, “Actually ako sa umpisa, hate ko talaga 'yang name na 'yan.”

When she was labeled as one of the “It Girls”, her curiosity stirred and decided to research the history of her moniker. Solenn said, “If you research it on Wikipedia it's actually, it means back in the days, someone that does many different things.”

She added, “Kasi ngayon parang 'pag sinabing 'it girl,' people think na socialite.”

Solenn also divulged that she is not the type of woman who goes to a lot of events. She appreciates a relaxing night with people close to her.

“Ako, ayoko pumupuntang events. It's one thing that I don't like to do. Unless meaningful 'yung event na 'yan. Most of the time, nasa bahay lang ako. Gusto ko na friends and family [ang kasama ko.] Ayoko magpaganda sa event, magpabongga ng gown dun sa katabi ko. Hindi ako ganun.”

Solenn concluded that she embraced her title after knowing its true definition.

“But 'It Girl' is someone that does well with what she does and does many different things. Okay naman [to be called one.]”
