Happy birthday, Frankie!

On the 17th birthday of Frankie Pangilinan, Sharon Cuneta couldn’t help but look back at all the wonderful memories she has of her daughter growing up as well as words of wisdom for the years to come.

Sharon started her message by saying, “My Dearest Simone, Something didn’t feel quite right when I woke up this morning. Then I realized...Where did all the time go?! How did it go past me so fast, almost unnoticed?! Why are you suddenly SO BIG?!!! Dang. Happy 17th Birthday, baby!!! Next year, you will officially be an adult. But I still will get to call you baby for as long as I’m alive. Hah.”

My Dearest Simone, Something didn’t feel quite right when I woke up this morning. Then I realized... Where did all the time go?! How did it go past me so fast, almost unnoticed?! Why are you suddenly SO BIG?!!! Dang. Happy 17th Birthday, baby!!! Next year, you will officially be an adult. But I still will get to call you baby for as long as I’m alive. Hah. Thank you for being just YOU. My manang-since-you-were-little, my no problem, no issue baby who grew up to become the family thesaurus, our “Kakiepedia,” still the “Mother of Dinosaurs” who is now also a Shopasaurus. I was thinking of devouring a whole cow to mark this special day, but as you know, I have been losing weight consistently and quickly lately and I’d like to get ready for my next movie. You know — in case they finally beg me to wear some sexy thong underwear in a scene (I know you and your friends are having a fancy dinner so put off the gagging for breakfast kasi mahal yan okay?). Hahaha! Anyway — I celebrate your life and am eternally grateful to God for having picked me to be your Momma. I also celebrate the fact that you will never have to exert the same amount of effort as I and your sisters to keep fit because you got your Dad’s skinny build. Darn it. Now YOU thank God you three girls got my booty. And two more curves where they matter. As you call me, you got a THICC Mom. (Naks! Am so kilig!) I love you, Kakie. Please don’t be turning into a monster and using hormones and adolescence as convenient excuses. You’ve been so good and precious it would be such a shame if your own mother cooked you. Seriously — I love you from the depths of the earth to where Jesus lives (heaven, not just in our hearts!). Stay happy and smart and beautiful and most of all, Godly and kind and respectful. I am so proud of you that there are just no words to express how very much so. Happy birthday again, and may God always guide you, protect you and keep you safe, and may He give you all the desires of your heart! Always, Your one and only loving Mama.

The Megastar jested on devouring a cow for her daughter’s special day but her journey to weight loss is stopping her from doing it.

Sharon continued by sharing that she’s grateful to be blessed with a daughter like her.
