LOOK: Pia Wurtzbach is the first Filipino to get Madame Tussauds wax figure

Pia Wurtzbach has a new achievement not only in her career, but also a first for the entire Philippines.

Miss Universe 2015 announced on her Instagram earlier that she is going to be the first Filipino to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds.

The wax figure will be joining other world icons in Hong Kong.

She said, “I have a big announcement! Starting early next year, I'll be residing in Hong Kong! Well, my wax figure will!

“So excited to be the first Filipino part of Madame Tussauds! What a birthday treat!

“Please visit me there. Will be waiting for you! @madametussaudshongkong”


Jonas Gaffud also shared some of Pia's photos along with his birthday message for the Pinay beauty queen.

He said, “On your birthday, I am proud to announce this wonderful project. The first Filipino to have a wax figure in Madam Tussauds.

“Wait for the launch soon and visit her next year!

“Every year may pasabog. Thank you for everything. “I love you @piawurtzbach . I will always be here for you. Happy Happy Birthday.”


Jonas disclosed that it took eight hours to get the exact measurements of Pia and it will take months to create the perfect wax figure of the beauty queen.


Pia's wax figure will be revealed in 2019.
