READ: Lyn Ching reveals her weight loss journey

By Maine Aquino

Lyn Ching relates to her followers her inspirational weight loss journey in Instagram post today, October 19.

The Unang Hirit host wrote, "It all starts simply by wanting it enough."

According to Lyn, her lifestyle changed when she noticed that she felt uncomfortable with her clothes and used apps to make her photos flattering.

“I got to a point many months ago that even a size Large wouldn't fit me comfortably.

“Having to constantly suck in my gut just to look a few inches thinner was painful.

“And having to use shaping and lengthening mobile apps was a huge blow to my ego. I just had to DO something.”

Lyn revealed that she tried intermittent fasting and treatments to help her lose weight but she opted for more ways to make her feel good.

Lyn's friend also helped her when she was asked to join an Inferno Hot Pilates class.

She disclosed, “A couple of months in, I'm still enjoying it immensely (u teach a mean class teacher @carol_chappell). Though I hate burpees and mountain climbers, I do it anyway.

“A HUGE difference also is the fact that I attend classes with my friends who also happen to be my neighbors.

“We carpool for convenience, but more than that, we do so for encouragement and to enjoy each other's company.

“When I find the time, I also attend fun spin classes and once in a while get tortured by @brynpineda lifting and further shaping my body to what I hope it to be.”

Lyn admitted that she's still on her journey to develop a fit and strong body. With that, she discussed she is happy where she's currently at.

“Almost 6 months into my fitness journey, I STILL don't have that elusive JLo body, my fat is still covering whatever abs I've developed on my torso, I'm still waiting for my thigh gap to just show the heck up.

“BUT, am I happy? proud? satisfied? The answer is YES. Absolutely. Definitely.”

To everyone who are having doubts or are losing hope to get in shape, Lyn left an inspiring message that she based straight from her experience.

She said, “Ladies... Give yourself a break. Don't lose hope. Don't stop trying. STOP doubting yourself and your capabilities.

“Be patient. Set a goal. Take that 1st step. Get into your workout gear. Take a walk (or in my case, kick scooter around the area). Play some music. Enjoy the view.

“The first step is always the hardest but YOU WILL GET THERE!!! #ILoveMe #Workout #GetFit #BeStrong”
