Alden Richards surprises online gamers at Mobile Legends street battle league

Alden Richards did not miss the opportunity to join his fellow online gamers at the first-ever Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Liga.

The Pambansang Bae is a self-confessed Mobile Legends player, so he made sure that he will be at the first leg of this street battle league, which was held last weekend at Barangay 159 Multi-Purpose Plaza in Malibay, Pasay City.

Alden came straight from Eat Bulaga studio to Pasay just to join the event.

“I started playing when the game started here in the Philippines,” he said.

“I'm so excited to be here. Galing pa akong Broadway, bini-beat ko 'yung traffic para umabot ako kasi last round na raw.”

Although he was not able to play in the actual game, Alden remained giddy doing the showcast with fellow e-sports enthusiasts Zeus and Billy Alfonso aka Z4PNU.

As an avid player, Alden said his usual default hero in Mobile Legends is Kagura.

However, he said, “Madalas kapag rank game, Leomord talaga.”

If you're wondering what is his username in the game, Alden said, “Ang daming hindi naniniwala before pero Jacksparrow ang game name ko.”

After the event, Alden met his fans and fellow online gamers to a dinner.

“Mobile Legends: Bang Bang LIGA,” the three-battle online league aims to gather non-professional e-sports legends in the country.
